For many years, we have prioritised the development of talent within the hospitality industry and are proud of the legacy of our exceptional managers, many of whom have served with us for extended periods of time. As careers progress within our company, we have designed extensive programmes to support employees’ aspirations and help them achieve their goals. One such programme is Future Leaders, which focuses on helping talented individuals within our organisation explore their personal effectiveness.

Ashley Thorne, the Head Of L&D says:

“Seeing a clear progression pathway is fundamental to the growth of our people and our business. Our talent is so important, and we are determined to offer career opportunities to everyone that wants it. Future Leaders is one of our key strategic succession planning tools and the appetite for development has never been so strong.

We are currently in our second programme, with 15 learners going through 20 weeks of both classroom and experiential learning which challenges the candidates to apply the learnings in the workplace.

Leadership is leadership, and as such we have a real mix of disciplines on the programme. We have Sales, F&B, Kitchen and Late-night learners in our current cohort which is an excellent opportunity to network and bounce ideas off like-minded people.

The results of the Future Leader Programme speak for themselves, of our first cohort, 67% of the candidates have gone on to be promoted.”
